Jay G Matthews
Jay Gallagher Matthews is a New Haven based artist, videographer, photographer and comedian with a passion for storytelling across all forms of media.
He currently works as the social media manager for the public access television program "Gramma's Attic Music Revue", creator and host of the webseries "The Goggles Project" as well as offering freelance videography, photography and graphic design services.
He recently had his stand up comedy debut at The Cellar at Treadwell in April of 2024 and plans on furthering his career in comedy performance in the coming months.
Some of his other professional experience includes working as a video editor and content for Team META, an esports consulting company, from 2021-2023, and being technical coordinator for the Mystic Film Festival from 2021-2022.
He is a 2020 graduate of Mitchell College, where he studied communication arts and video production. During his time at Mitchell he created and assisted in a variety of creative projects, such as the short film "A.C.T.I.", and founded the Mitchell College Film Club.
